Say 'NO'

"It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ."
-Titus 2:12-13; New International Version (NIV)

In His Arms

That's where we belong. In His arms. Sometimes I forget that. When bad things happen and stress overpowers me I feel like I need to handle everything myself. That I need to hold onto all my emotional baggage and deal with it when I get the chance.

But that's not the case. I can go to my God, tell him my trouble and sit in His arms. He can take my pain away. I know that I can't, but He can. And He does. And He will.

I just have to remember to climb into those arms of His. And rest.
